Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed kayaking and water skiing, which were perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding waters. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was fantastic. Definitely book a table at the restaurant on weekends for a better dining experience!
The Wi-Fi in our room didn’t work, which was a bit inconvenient, especially when we needed to check our phones before heading out.

Perfect spot near Wastwater
We stayed for 2 nights and loved Room 16—super spacious and tucked away from the hustle. After hiking all day, the comfy bed was a dream! The big fluffy towels were a nice touch too. The only thing was the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty. Nice bar area for chilling out after adventures.

Had a fantastic time at Kellbank! The location is perfect for exploring the Lake District. The staff were incredibly friendly, always welcoming. Breakfast each day offered plenty of delicious options, and I particularly loved the Scottish breakfast choices. The room was cozy, clean, and very well maintained with comfortable bedding. Enjoyed relaxing in the bar area in the evenings, great atmosphere. I did face a minor issue with the shower temperature. it often felt tepid rather than warm. The outdoor space was limited, and I felt there could have been more seating available in the dining areas, especially during peak breakfast hours. Despite these hiccups, it definitely didn’t overshadow my stay, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Just a top selection for a fleeting trip in Gosforth (Cumbria) with value for money. The staff were friendly and helped us with our luggage. Try to check the room for noise from the games room before settling in.

great stay but lacking some small details
The pod I stayed in had a private and cozy atmosphere that made the experience much more enjoyable. I especially appreciated the friendly staff and the varied breakfast options available.
The location, while private, was a bit far from the main hotel.

Clean rooms with a spacious layout made for a comfortable stay. The dining options featured an impressive menu with locally sourced items, and the breakfast spread was generous, including top-notch bacon that had me wanting more.
Encountered a few hiccups, like a loose toilet seat and minimal storage space for toiletries in the bathroom—definitely a hassle when you're traveling with multiple items. The duvet felt a bit too heavy, resulting in an uncomfortable night's sleep for some. the menu lacked lighter fare like sandwiches or rolls, which could have added variety to our meals.
